![]() ![]() I don't understand why they're doing this right know but ok I guess they seems to want to make the decision taking more important in BFA. Seems good! Comment by Ryuthedragon on T23:00:36-05:00 Seems the gameplay is coming back to the roots, when tanking wasn`t dependend solely on gear. I wanna know what's the idea behind this, this used to be a thing back in vanilla/tbc, but now it's kinda questionable to do this kind of change, makes me kinda concerned about how this is gonna affect M+. Interesting, I wonder how this works out. ![]() Choo choo, coming through Comment by Mike21daisu on T22:53:57-05:00 I'm sure this will make no real difference. Using the Threat Meter addon Omen we can illustrate with some pictures.Įquipping a non-artifact Weapon, we can see that the Threat a tank deals from just auto attacks is just above 5 times the damage dealt.Įquipping an artifact Weapon, we can see that the Threat a tank deals from just auto attacks is around 7 times the damage dealt.Įquipping a non-artifact Weapon, we can see that the Threat a DPS deals from just auto attacks is around half the damage dealt.Įquipping an artifact Weapon, we can see that the Threat a DPS deals from just auto attacks is still around half the damage dealt. A tank still generates over 10 times the threat of a DPS, it's just shown in a different way in Legion. If a DPS deals 100 points of damage, they actually receive 50 Threat and a Tank is supposed to receive 500 Threat on the meter. In Legion, it's important to note that threat is halved.
